Supervisor, Sourcing – Talent Acquisition Department


The Supervisor, Sourcing will lead the support team of the Talent Acquisition Department by implementing lead generation strategies to fill candidate pipelines for corporate, field operations and supported practice (doctor and team) positions within Heartland Dental.


As an experienced leader in generating high quality talent pools, this key business partner will be a natural leader, strategist and relationship builder, heading a team that maintains a network of engaged candidates while driving the lead generation strategies across the organization. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of excelling in a fast-paced, metric-driven sourcing environment, and implementing a variety of candidate development strategies.   Creative and collaborative, the selected candidate will be comfortable recommending process improvements while actively seeking innovative approaches to candidate generation.



  • Develop and deliver training to sourcing specialists and recruiters
  • Develop a team of polished sourcing professionals dedicated to developing candidate pipelines for defined hard-to-fill positions.
  • Plan and develop standard operating procedures for sourcing activities
  • Innovate and identify new sourcing opportunities as needed
  • Utilize metrics and reporting to direct department resources to the most urgent requisitions and those that serve the highest business need
  • Collaborate with the directors of recruiting to support their respective teams’ priorities
  • Manage priorities of a small team and maintain a positive work environment
  • Utilize online recruitment tools, job boards, and social media sites to identify top talent
  • Collaborate with recruiters on successful utilization strategies recruitment tools and social media outlets.
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing department to enhance online presence through career sites
  • Attend targeted recruiting events, as required, to drive candidate pipelines
  • Act as individual contributor in sourcing for overflow positions when needed


Minimum Requirements


  • Completion of one of the following: 5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience; OR an associate degree and not less than 3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, HR, or related degree and not less than 2 years of recruiting or sourcing experience
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Robust social media and online recruitment knowledge and experience
  • Adept at writing and coordinating Social Media postings, advertisements, and other online content
  • Outgoing, performance-driven, and interested in helping build a unique, revolutionary sourcing strategy from ground level.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently or as a team, with a strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
  • Ability to travel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using an ATS (iCIMS is preferred)
  • Recruiting experience in a healthcare or staffing agency setting is preferred
  • Sourcing certification from AIRS, Social Talent, The People Sourcing Certification Program, or The Sourcing Institute
