Supervisor, Sourcing – Talent Acquisition Department

 

The Supervisor, Sourcing will lead the support team of the Talent Acquisition Department by implementing lead generation strategies to fill corporate, field operations and supported practice (doctor and team) positions within Heartland Dental.

 

As an experienced leader in generating high quality talent pools, this key business partner will be a natural leader, strategist and relationship builder, heading a team that maintains a network of engaged candidates while driving the lead generation strategies across the organization. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of excelling in a fast-paced, metric-driven sourcing environment implementing a variety of candidate development strategies.   Creative and collaborative, the selected candidate will be comfortable recommending process improvements while actively seeking innovative approaches to candidate generation.

This position reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Develop and deliver training to sourcing specialists and recruiters
  • Plans and develops improved procedures
  • Analyze data and statistics
  • Utilize metrics and reporting to direct department resources to most urgent requisitions and those that serve the highest business need
  • Collaborate directly with the directors of recruiting, supporting their respective teams’ priorities
  • Manage priorities of a small team and maintain a positive work environment
  • Utilize online recruitment tools, job boards, and social media sites to identify top talent
  • Collaborate with all recruiters on utilization and the success of recruitment tools and social media strategies to increase presence within Facebook, Twitter, Linked In or other social media channels
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing department to enhance online presence through Careers Site or other landing pages for Heartland Dental careers
  • Utilize alternative channels to find candidates
  • Develop a team of polished sourcing professionals dedicated to developing candidate pipelines for defined hard-to-fill positions.
  • Attend targeted recruiting events, as required, to drive candidate pipelines
  • As needed, act as individual contributor in sourcing for overflow positions when needed.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of one of the following: 5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience OR an associate degree and not less than 3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, HR, or related degree and not less than 2 years of recruiting or sourcing experience
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Internet sourcing or recruiting experience within a fast paced, growing environment. Preferred industry experience, but will consider other fast-paced or related industry.
  • Robust social media and online recruitment knowledge and experience
  • Adept at writing and coordinating Social Media postings, advertisements, and other online content
  • Ability to speedily source and find top talent for a variety of roles, skillsets and backgrounds
  • Innovate and identify new and exciting sourcing opportunities as needed
  • Outgoing, performance-driven, and interested in helping build a unique, revolutionary recruitment strategy from ground level.
  • Proven results driving success in an environment that quickly evolves, and has a high volume of recruiting needs
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently or as a team, with a strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
  • High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential
  • Ability to travel multiple times per month on short notice

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using an ATS (iCIMS is preferred)
  • Recruiting experience in a healthcare or staffing agency setting is preferred
  • Sourcing certification from AIRS, Social Talent, The People Sourcing Certification Program, or The Sourcing Institute
