Position Description and Expectations: Due to anticipated growth over the next three to five years, Heartland Dental must add highly specialized talent. We are looking for an individual that can advance Heartland Dental’s compliance program through forward thinking, a positive attitude and customer-service oriented manner. This position has strong visibility with Heartland Dental’s executive leadership team, board of directors and stakeholders.
In this position, you will work closely with a peer group including, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel; Director of Employee Relations and Paralegal Services, Director of Dental Insurance Administration and reporting to the Executive Vice President, General Counsel
While relocation to Effingham, IL is preferred, candidates in the St. Louis area will be considered. Travel to the support office located in Effingham, IL three to four days per week for onboarding and training will be required, with periodic visits to Effingham thereafter.
Primary Function: The Corporate Compliance Officer will report directly to a member of the Senior Leadership team and oversee the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as an objective business partner that reviews and evaluates compliance issues within the organization in alignment with company goals. The position ensures that the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets Heartland Dental’s Values and Standards of Conduct.
