    Branded Events Specialist


    The Branded Events Specialist is primarily responsible for best practice planning and execution of Heartland Dental events to achieve world-class in-person brand experiences.  Essential to the role will be a keen understanding of what excites and delights our audiences, the building and maintaining of strong relationships with internal and external customers, and a strong understanding of the role events can play within the overall brand marketing strategy.

    This valued role reports directly to Event Logistics Coordinator and serves as a key member within the Doctor and Brand Marketing team, supporting the overall company and brand goals.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure brand events support the overall marketing and brand strategy, building the reputation of the company
    • Engage supported dentists and team members, prospects, and attendees by creating memorable, and meaningful, world-class experiences for all attending
    • Initiate seamless flow of company event planning by proactively and collaboratively defining scope. Ensure brand marketing and overall business goals are achieved; partner with doctor and affiliations team members on scope and to ensure increased engagement and collaboration at events
    • Proactively establish timelines, develop checklists, and collaborate with others inside and outside the organization for execution.
    • Ensure events contracts are focused on target pricing, includes appropriate space, and contain optimal concessions based on needs
    • Establish KPI’s and manage to achieve optimal value
    • Maintain quality working relationships with internal and external customers
    • Continually research new vendors who can provide cutting-edge, innovative/ creative, and more cost-effective services that meet company standards and exceed attendee expectations
    • Integrate digital experiential elements seamlessly into in-person experiences, before, during and after events


    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, public relations, or related field
    • 2 years’ experience in brand event marketing/planning, preferred
    • Experience integrating digital elements into live events preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Superb verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook Excel
    • Understanding of meeting planning components, including Banquet Event Orders and Audio-Visual needs
    • Display professionalism
    • Self-starter / proactive
    • Highly collaborative
