    To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team of professionals dedicated to development of enterprise wide business intelligence tools and capabilities, reporting to a manager of BI.

    Responsibilities

    Duties and responsibilities will include:

    • Help capture and document business requirements for future analytical reporting needs
    • Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of process or system improvements as they relate to analytical reporting
    • Demonstrate innovation and thought leadership in how the business is analyzed and develop reporting approaches that will enhance business value and outcome
    • Support the design of various reporting dashboards, including building mock-ups and modeling various business scenarios
    • Provide support to stakeholders including answering inquiries, investigating data issues, and documenting/evaluating reporting enhancement requests
    • Support the documentation of data definitions, clarifications, and governance processes
    • Test and validate new features, system defects, and system enhancements and/or upgrades prior to deployment
    • Actively assist in the front-end development of various reporting dashboards and visuals in SAP Analytics Cloud
    • Collaborate with peers and third-party consultants to complete project deliverables
    • Additional projects and duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytical, Quantitative, or STEM fields and/or relevant work experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical or reporting role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify discrepancies, perform research therein, and work toward resolution
    • Ability to understand KPIs, operational performance metrics, and application design aesthetics  
    • Knowledge of various graphs, charts and visualization components
    • Prior experience with analytical reporting tools, i.e. Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, etc.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into system specifications
    • Past experience working on software implementation projects
    • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to effectively handle multiple deliverables simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

    Desirable Qualifications:

     

    • Experience in retail/healthcare industries
    • Understanding of SAP Analytics for Cloud and other SAP reporting tools based on Business Object suite of tools (Webi, Analysis for Office)
    • Well versed in user experience and user design techniques
    • Understanding of Front-End Fiori based application, creation of Fiori tiles
    • Understanding of key integration aspects across SAP HANA, SAP Analytics for Cloud and SAP Fiori              
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
