    Development - Facilities Coordinator

    You will play a critical role supporting the Development Department facilities program and will work alongside a professional team of Facility Coordinators, Project Coordinators, Project Managers and project support staff to contribute towards maintaining our offices, reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager.


    Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

    • To support facilities, repair and maintenance requests from our supported offices.
    • Daily planning, scheduling and coordinating of work orders with supported offices, internal departments, service providers and landlord/property managers.
    • Prioritize, review, and approve work orders within established guidelines.
    • Build and evaluate contractor, supplier, and vendor relationships.
    • Maintain vendor compliance log and facility agreements database.
    • Work on special projects or key strategy initiatives for the facilities team.


    Minimum Requirements:

    • A High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma(GED)
    • Knowledge of building construction, building design or facilities management approaches.
    • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work well under pressure on multiple projects, tasks and prioritize personal workload.
    • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
    • Ability to travel multiple times per year on short notice

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Associate Degree in science or related field with 1-3 years’ experience in facility repair and maintenance work is preferred.
    • Experience with facilities management with healthcare, or retail background.
    • Facility Management certifications or designations.
