    IT Office Integration Specialist, Information Technology


    The IT Office Integration Specialist is responsible for onboarding and integrating newly affiliated dental offices and scratch start dental offices.  This includes planning and coordinating projects that will modernize and standardize practice management software and IT equipment (also known as conversions) within our supported offices.  Additionally, this role will play a vital part in coordinating resources for dental office renovations and remodels.

    To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team with other IT Office Integration Specialists, reporting to the IT Office Integrations Supervisor. 


    Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

    • Facilitate the IT segment of onboarding and integrating affiliations and new build offices
    • Responsible for dental office user account management (AD & Email, practice management)
    • Direct and execute the dental office conversion process including extracting office-level data, collaborating with our conversion vendor, and communicating frequently with office contacts and other nontechnical stakeholders
    • Initiate the database setup of new start up dental offices
    • Provide IT expertise and coordinate IT resources for construction and development projects such as office remodels and expansions
    • Partner with the Marketing Department on rebranding dental offices (updating office email account, practice management software, and internal databases)
    • Manage the billing setup for all dental office practice management software (license transfers)
    • Coordinate IT communication and processes for affiliations, conversions, office closings, sale of offices and new, start-up dental offices, while collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders throughout each initiative’s lifecycle.
    • Work closely with operations and the conversion team to establish office software/hardware standards during conversions


    Minimum Requirements:

    • Completion of one of the following: three years of IT experience or 1 year of IT experience and degree in an IT related field.
    • Practical knowledge of basic IT concepts
    • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail 
    • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers
    • Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
    • High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Prior experience working in or with a dental office environment
    • Experience with core Dentrix practice management software
    • Experience with multiple types of dental practice management software
    • A self-sufficient individual with time management skills.
